On Monday 22 April 2019, in the
300-seat preparatory-year lecture hall, Japan’s Ambassador
to the DRC met Mapon University students.
During the meeting, Japan’s Ambassador
to the DRC described his life and the values that helped him
advance his career, including punctuality,
rigour, discipline and hard work.
Students then asked a series of
questions about the Ambassador’s success,
technology and Japan’s development.
The discussion ended with encouragement from
Mapon University’s Board Chair, who urged
students to learn from the Ambassador’s experience and the
Japanese model, as they are called to achieve great things for themselves,
the DRC and the world.
