Bachelor’s–Master’s–Doctorate system

Clear, progressive degree pathways.

The Bachelor’s–Master’s–Doctorate (LMD) framework organises studies into semesters, course units and credits. Mapon University currently offers bachelor’s degree programmes and a master’s degree programme.

L

Bachelor’s degree (Licence)

The Licence is the first degree in the LMD system. It is organised over three years and comprises 180 credits, with an additional preparatory year for the programmes concerned.

M

Master’s degree

A master’s degree programme is currently offered. It provides advanced study in a specialisation and brings the total to 300 accumulated credits. Its title and entry requirements are provided by the Office of the Secretary-General for Academic Affairs.

D

Doctorate

The doctorate is the third degree in the LMD system. No specific doctoral programme is presented on this portal until its official organisation has been confirmed.
