Background and rationale
Mapon University, an innovative institution in Kindu, Maniema, DRC, focuses on technology, independent learning and interdisciplinary technological research directed towards innovation.
To meet its laboratory staffing needs, Mapon University is recruiting five (05) laboratory technicians.
Responsibilities
- Manage the laboratory;
- Welcome and support students;
- Organise and maintain laboratory equipment;
- Explore topics and enrich them through interest-based learning;
- Select and use teaching and assessment procedures, experiments or methods suited to the subjects and students’ interests and knowledge.
Education
Bac+3 or Bac+4 qualification at engineering technician level, or a bachelor’s degree in industrial or civil engineering
Other required qualities
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Good character and relevant experience;
- A strong work ethic;
- Teamwork.
Work location : Kindu
Working pattern: Full-time
Contract: Permanent contract
