Successful candidates will supervise practical work, manage laboratories and participate in research with companies. After a probationary period, the strongest candidates will be considered for doctoral training funded by Mapon University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position<\/strong> : University teaching assistants.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Work location<\/strong> : Kindu (Maniema), DRC.<\/p>\n<p>Required specialisms include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Electrical engineering\/Electronics\/Telecommunications\/Automation,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Geology and Mining<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Computing<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Mechanics<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Chemistry,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Mathematics,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Physics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eligible candidates must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0hold at least a Licence or engineering degree with an average of at least 65% over the final two years, or equivalent; and be under 35;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0have a strong command of spoken and written French;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0be able to use computing tools, including Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent and software specific to their specialism;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0demonstrate teamwork, work organisation, communication and feedback skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A command of English is an advantage.<\/strong><br \/>\nApplications, including a CV, a handwritten covering letter, copies of university diplomas and contact details for three referees, including at least one professor who taught the applicant in their specialism, must be sent to the Rector\u2019s Office (<a href=\"mailto:info@universitemapon.ac.cd\">info@universitemapon.ac.cd<\/a>) by 10 March 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Following review of qualifications, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for individual interviews.
